Fluffy yellow chick with an orange beak in a vertical oval with a lilac background, “Retrato Ilustre LI” art print by Daniel Sueiras

Retrato Ilustre LI

SKU: 43c-SN-A5

Daniel Sueiras devotes Retrato Ilustre LI, from the Natural Selection collection, to a yellow chick with fluffy down, bright dark eyes and an orange beak. The bird, shown head and shoulders and turned slightly, almost entirely fills a vertical oval with a lilac background, a colour contrast that brings out the softness of its plumage.

Description

Natural Selection is a series by Daniel Sueiras that pays tribute to Charles Darwin’s discoveries on the evolution of species while also looking at them with irony. In it, the artist revisits the classical portrait of illustrious figures to portray animals of all kinds.
